The season is uponst me! My odd little hobby of raising Monarch Butterlies has now gone into high gear and upon persistent urging...I have finally begun to put down all of the excitement that will take place over the next 6 weeks or so.

Sad News.

Sad News to report -

Yesterday a very tiny 'pillar stopped thriving.   This is a first time for me, but I cannot change how Mother Nature wanted this to happen.    Rest in the land of abundant Milkweed, little one.

And today, one egg that was collected from June 28, went mouldy.  This is the first egg of this year that did not turn into a little caterpillar.
