Welcome Everyone!

The season is uponst me! My odd little hobby of raising Monarch Butterlies has now gone into high gear and upon persistent urging...I have finally begun to put down all of the excitement that will take place over the next 6 weeks or so.
Thank-you very much for reading this blog and perhaps you will find yourself wanting to help a critter on this planet that needs help.

Wow - another hot one today!

Hey there!

Today is another very hot day where I live.    We  tipped the therometre at 44C with the humidex value - that is 111F for my US friends.

Even inside with the A/C on, I am pretty sure we are at a hot enough temperature for my 'pillars to be very happy.

Having a techincal issue with my camera today - the camera may not know it yet, but I will win...
so pics are to come as soon it cooperates or I threaten it sufficiently.

Cleopatra and Anthony seem to be a bit "befuddled" by all of the room they have and their "tree" I made for them.  They have the tree so that they can attach, spin off and go into pupae mode.    I am hoping that Mother Nature kicks in and gives them an instinctual kick.

Caterpillar #13 arrived yesterday.
Lady "A" - you know who you are...thank-you for the name of "Peter Parker".

You chose a very special name that speaks to my partner who is a huge, no, ENORMOUS Spider-man fan.
Thank-you!

Isis is chugging away.  From a little 'pillar that was not looking so good, she is now looking very robust.   Tutankhamen-Orr is giving her a run for the money.

Adonis and Aprodite growing as well.

Hatshepsut and Amenhotep are making their mark.

Beezlebub, Caviar, Mothra and Godzilla one can actially see now when a picture is taken.

A great day to all.    As said, when I win, pics to come.

Thank-you for reading and keep your antennae tuned for the next installment.
